yum -yの[-y]とは？

オプション -y は 問い合わせにすべて「y」と返答するオプション

$ man yum　でマニュアルを見ると、

-y, –assumeyes
Assume yes; assume that the answer to any question which would
be asked is yes.
Configuration Option: assumeyes
